North Carolina Adventure Elopement

Since capturing Cara and Dominique’s Western North Carolina Adventure Elopement in September of 2021, I have been dying to give it a permanent place on my blog. It was filled with so much love and intimate moments that I hope you will love it as much as I do.

CARA AND DOMINIQUE: A LOVE STORY

HOW THEY MET

Cara and Dominique matched on OkCupid (we live in the coolest century). They decided that the best way to meet each other would be to get some cold treats at Pelican’s Snowballs. After talking (and laughing) both realized how much they were loving each other’s company. As their spoons started scraping the end of their cups, neither of them was ready to part ways. Instead, they decided to go to a nearby lake to watch the sunset.

To this day, they joke about how Dominique I voluntarily got into his (A STRANGER) car! Needless to say, everything worked out!

HOW THEY DESCRIBE THEIR RELATIONSHIP

If they could narrow their relationship down to one word, it would be GROWTH. Both believe that they have grown so much as people during their time together. As their relationship lengthens, they look forwards to continuing that development and maturation!

They classify their love as being one filled with love, laughter, and continuous support.

WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA ADVENTURE ELOPEMENT

From the get-go, Cara and Dominique knew exactly what they wanted for their Western North Carolina Adventure Elopement. They came with me with their dream location and even concepts for their timeline!

They know that they wanted the day to be solely focused on their love and relationship. Spending thousands of dollars on a wedding that really only lasts one day, just wasn’t practical to them. All they wanted was to celebrate with their closest family while saving time for intimate and personal moments. Their one request was to spend their elopement together and not stress about the many moving pieces that surround traditional weddings.

By the end of Cara and Dominique’s Western North Carolina Adventure Elopement, our bodies were exhausted but our hearts were so full! As we were finishing up the evening, they told me they were so happy they chose to celebrate their marriage the way they did. They had so much fun hiking around solo for sunrise, kayaking together in the warm sunshine, and ending the day surrounded by their closest loved ones.
They truly embraced every aspect of a full day adventure elopement.

I was so grateful they chose me to be a part of it.
